I know, I know, this post is about my favorite Christmas song. And I'll share.
In the meantime, I'm feeling feisty and want to share the one Christmas song I absolutely HATE:

NO. no no no!
I'm sure at one point it was a nice song, and I didn't mind it. But somewhere in my years of retail jobs, I realized that everyone and their mom felt the need to offer their take on this song if they were to record a holiday album. Enough is enough. It's beating a dead horse. Agh! Nothing gets me to switch radio station faster.
This year, "O Holy Night" has been in my head non-stop, but my favorite Christmas song of all time is a bit less exposed than the aforementioned songs. Still, I'm sure many of you know it:
While my favorite arrangement of this song is a choral version I can never seem to find, I'll take the song in any form. I get chills hearing it. I also love the unexpected factor that the lyrics were written by a comedian.
